How to get from Cesky Krumlov to Hallstatt
There are several ways how to travel from Cesky Krumlov to Hallstatt.
Prices of all three options are very similar and the biggest difference is the time it takes.
Train
To get from Cesky Krumlov to Hallstatt by train, you need to take at least 4 trains:
- Český Krumlov - České Budějovice
- České Budějovice- Linz
- Linz - Attnang-Puchheim
- Attnang-Puchheim - Hallstatt
The average time is 6 hours and 15 minutes (plus the time necessary to get from your hotel to train station and vice versa)
Combination of bus and train
A little bit faster option is replacing the first slow train connection by a bus connection:
- by bus Český Krumlov - České Budějovice
- by train České Budějovice- Linz
- by train Linz - Attnang-Puchheim
- by train Attnang-Puchheim - Hallstatt
This journey takes 6 hours on average (plus the time necessary to get from your hotel to train station and vice versa)
